Those who have owned a Chinese car for a minimum of two and a maximum of six months were given the opportunity to participate in the surveys. They were asked to rate their cars on a number of parameters: appearance, ergonomics, safety, dynamics, fuel consumption and others. As a result, for each make and model, the experts derived an average score (the maximum is 1000) and then produced a rating.

Highlighting only the brands represented in Russia, we note that Geely took first place in the general classification – 731 points. Another well-known brand, Chery, was fifth with 726 points. Slightly less “deserved” Haval – 725 points. The top ten of our well-known brands also included Changan (719 points) and Hongqi (715 points), which is about to start direct (ie without intermediaries) sales in the Russian Federation.

If you look at the segments and specific models, Chery Arrizo 5 Plus stood out among the available sedans (patented in Russia, may come to us in 2023). And the best four-door in the middle price range was Geely Preface (already sold in Belarus, probably will come to us). As for crossovers, there is only one car that we know – Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, recognized as the best mid-sized SUV. But the Haval and Changan models – even those presented exclusively in the Celestial Realm – are not among the leaders.
