The Belarusians promised to release the heir of “Shishiga”, and they kept their promise. Meet: a civilian villain with a factory index MZKT−450330. So far, this is a prototype, which, however, is already completing certification tests.
The all-terrain vehicle was built on the basis of the MZKT-5002000 army all-terrain vehicle, which is already the successor to the famous GAZ-66. Wheel Formula – 4×4. Load capacity – up to 3 tons.
Various modifications to the car are expected, including shift bus, workshop bus and others.
The successor to the Soviet “Shishiga” is equipped with a Weichai turbo diesel engine, which produces 220 horsepower, and is accompanied by a six-speed Fast Gear transmission. The alternative, according to Drom, will be a tandem of the Russian 215 hp YaMZ and a five-speed manual transmission from SAAZ. And what: import substitution in action!
The novelty, ready to go into the series, received a permanent four-wheel drive, split drive shafts with a central gearbox, cross-axle limited slip differentials, a two-stage “transfer case” with an interaxal “diff”. Of course, and spring suspension.
Probably soon we will see a new Belarusian truck on the Russian roads.
