Of the nearly 1,500 offenders, 60 people were found to be drunk again – because they had been stripped of all their “rights” to drink-driving. Now, according to Article 264(1) of the Criminal Code, they risk a fine of up to 300,000 rubles, a three-year denial of a VU and a maximum prison sentence of two years.
