Since the beginning of autumn, the capital’s traffic police have continued to collect the standard “harvest” from drunk drivers. Portal “AvtoVzglyad” found out the exact number of future “rightless” rights.
From September 1 to 22, the capital’s traffic police established 1,459 protocols for drivers suspected of driving under the influence. At the same time, 681 of them were “blown” with police breath analyzers and 718 detainees refused medical examinations. Of the nearly 1,500 offenders, 60 people were found to be drunk again – because they had been stripped of all their “rights” to drink-driving. Now, according to Article 264(1) of the Criminal Code, they risk a fine of up to 300,000 rubles, a three-year denial of a VU and a maximum prison sentence of two years.
