Skywell representatives promise that ET5 sales will begin “in a month” in Russia. The crossover has an electrical system of 204 hp and a battery of 72 kW – it is said that the car can travel up to 520 km on a single charge. By the way, the battery – the most expensive part of any “electric train” – gives the manufacturer 8 years of warranty.
Judging by the official website, the novelty will be offered in two rather “thick” versions: comfort for 4,480,000 rubles and luxury for 4,980,000. The power sources are the same, the only difference is in the options. As much as 500,000 rubles, the Chinese ask for laser headlights, factory colors, a panoramic roof and sunroof, front and side cameras and 2 additional USB ports.
Where to buy ET5? In the first year of its presence in the market, Skywell will agree a partnership with 30 dealers. Car dealerships will be opened in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Krasnodar and other metropolitan cities. The manufacturer will come in with the ET5 model and a little later – again judging by the site – will expand the line because of the HT-I crossover and the D11 bus.
Diversity – especially in the current situation, when Russians who are considering buying a new car, and there is nothing to choose from, is good. But why electric cars? Do the Chinese really not see that ‘battery’ cars are not popular in our country and will probably not start in the foreseeable future. Especially with such and such a price, such as the Skywell ET5.
