To get to the traffic police for registration of his “swallow”, he decided to use the “State Services” – he chose on the portal the MREO closest to the workplace, a suitable date and time of visit. Five minutes and you’re done. Plus, there were a lot of free slots – come the next day anyway. This is understandable, however: cars have risen sharply in price, nobody buys or registers anything.
“Because I signed up so easily, I’ll probably get STS soon,” thought our hero. In addition, he did not go “from the street”, but from the “Gosuslug”, which, it seems, entails a privileged service. But there wasn’t! Yes, he got to the first counter almost on time, where pre-prepared documents are submitted (just 6 minutes later than he should have). But not because of pre-registration on one portal, but because of the fact that there were few visitors.
And on this very first window, the conditional privilege ended. Vehicle inspection – in the order of the general queue. By the way, in the metropolitan traffic police station on the Khoroshevsky highway, the site is located ten minutes from the MREO itself, which is extremely inconvenient. You need to spend time not only driving back and forth, but also looking for parking spaces – no one is allowed to enter the territory of the department, and a small parking lot in the back can accommodate no more than 15 cars.
It took our hero 50 minutes for the first submission of documents, inspection of the car, the way to the site and back, as well as the search for a parking space. He returned to the MREO and, to hand over the inspection to the employees, stood in a new row, which moved as “fast” as the stream of cars on the Russian-Georgian border. And all because of the fact that a problem visitor “hanged” at the window.
It took the indifferent traffic cops a whopping 40 minutes to figure out how to open an additional “reception”. And without this strong-willed decision, our hero would probably have spent several more hours with the traffic police. So I handed over the documents, got up last – this time for the STS and the “cans”. Fortunately, the process went much faster here and after 15 minutes the car owner left the MREO. In total – almost 2 hours. And this despite the fact that again there were few people.

Although it would make more sense to direct cautious motorists who were concerned about the matter beforehand in a different, separate way – but no.
