OPPO, the world’s fourth largest cell phone maker, has arrived in Brazil with a somewhat unusual launch. With so many nearly identical smartphones on the market, the OPPO Reno7 offers a distinguishing feature that’s hard to ignore: a microscopic camera.
In this video, I present not only this extremely curious camera, but every detail of this device, which demonstrates how difficult it is to get a place in the Brazilian market. With a starting price of R$3,000, this phone also features ColorOS with gesture navigation for TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and other features that try to set it apart from the competition. An example is its ring light, a backlight that serves not only to add interesting design, but also to aid in microscopic photography.
Out of curiosity, I collected a few items to take a look at with my camera, including coffee grounds, salt, a food processor, and even a beetle (which was the most amazing thing).
Among the main specifications, it has 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, a rear and front camera with a Sony IMX 709 sensor, and nothing special. As you will see, this is actually quite simple and may even be missing in some aspects. But of course it always depends on what you are looking for and the OPPO Reno 7 is definitely worth checking out.
