The mass exodus of European car brands from the Russian market hit commercial vehicles in particular hard: not only new cars, but also spare parts disappeared. Neither to buy a new one, nor to maintain your own. Things grew sad, as was the custom, tightened their belts and began to change shoes on the new rails stretching from the east.

The echelons of used commercial vehicles coming from Europe along the M1 highway should not lead to clear-headed thoughts: demand is still significantly outpacing supply, and “parallel imports” are more likely to close gaps in small and micro businesses, but will have medium and large companies active in logistics or have their own fleet.

Officially and widely, with the possibility of linking the leasing needed for logistics and other ‘park’ structures, it is impossible to arrange the delivery of used equipment. In addition, the classic scheme of lease with after-sales implies a service that cannot be obtained from anywhere. Difficult? Doubtless. hopeless?

No. Because there is ubiquitous China. The Chinese, who openly put income above politics, have something and someone to replace the “refugees”. Let’s start perhaps with the most understandable quantities – with vans needed by everyone, young and old.

JAC presented the Sunray bus this summer at CTT, which is being transported from the assembly line in Kazakhstan in Russia. Sellers do not even hide that the main “argument” of the car is the price. Sunray is now sold at the price of an all-metal Gazelle – 3,572,000 rubles, but this is the price with VAT, as well as with the possibility of applying leasing and credit. Options JAC Sunray: two liter petrol engine of 190 hp, manual gearbox, rear-wheel drive, electric windows, radio, ABS, EBD. Manufacturer’s warranty – 150,000 km or three years, service interval – 15,000 km, luggage compartment capacity – 12 “cubes”.

JAC also decided to delimit the entire niche of trucks “up to a ton” by launching two models on the market: the half-ton N25, with a 129 hp diesel engine and a manual transmission, which on-board version costs 2,379 ,000 rubles, and the N35, with a payload already a whole ton, which can be found at dealers for 2,399,000 rubles. Equipment – the same 2 liters and mechanics. By the way, an isothermal van based on the JAC N35 will cost 2,600,000 rubles, and a “ref” – 3,172,275.

For 1,940,000 rubles, you can now and from an authorized dealer – leasing, credit, warranty – buy a 2022 Dongfeng EQ1030 \ 1040 with a 2.2-liter 128 hp diesel engine, manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. Deadweight – tons, execution – cargo on board. For a similar amount, there is also an analogue of Porter – Dongfeng Captain-T: the same 2.2-liter diesel engine, mechanics, payload 575 kg, category “B”. The native “Gazelle” with a “board” is offered for 2,189,000, if anything. Not “Next”, but that one.

You can go on for a long time: a simple search on the Internet will suggest products under the brands Foton, Yuejin, BAW, JMC, Naveco, FAW and many others. It is no longer a secret to anyone that the outcome of the Russian market is miracles, the largest country in the world with a population of more than 140,000,000 people is somehow not considered the most attractive market – European, Japanese , Korean and American manufacturers have done everything possible for the huge Chinese expansion.

For all the money, which the Chinese have a lot of. And the last two times there is no need to invite: the port of St. Petersburg and all related services have been busy since May with the work on “customs clearance” and registration of many and varied equipment arriving from China Russia is delivered. And the largest leasing companies have already developed and offered special programs tailored to the commercial transportation of their China. It’s difficult now with statistics, but the summer figures of the Chinese car industry – a quarter of all cars sold in Russia – speak for themselves.
