The company Nizhneangarsktransstroy became the sole contractor for the restoration of the Crimean Bridge. This follows from the order of the Government of the Russian Federation, published today. “Identify Nizhneangarsktransstroy LLC as the sole executor of procurement and design and restoration works performed in 2022 and 2023 by the FKU Department of Federal Highways Taman … of the destroyed elements of the transport and engineering infrastructure of the Crimean Bridge,” it document says. It also sets an end date for the restoration work of July 1, 2023.
Recall that on October 8, a truck exploded on the bridge on its way from Taman to Crimea. As a result, two spans of one of the two branches of the road section collapsed. Later, the FSB of the Russian Federation reported that it was a terrorist attack, organized by the special services of Ukraine. The explosives were in the tractor trailer, disguised as rolls of plastic tape.
