That Kia can completely curtail sales in Russia, Bloomberg says. The executive vice president of Korean brand Wu Jong-ju explained this decision by saying that the Russian car market will go through difficult times next year, and this will undoubtedly affect the results of new car sales.

Therefore, the Koreans can only abandon the after-sales service of those cars that have already been sold in the country, and limit the sale of new ones, since the supply of components and cars to Russia is extremely difficult.

Recall that the Russian car market has experienced a sharp decline this year. From January to September, 506,661 cars could be sold, according to the Association of European Businesses (AEB), 59.8% less than in the same period last year. In particular, Kia “closes” only 56,791 cars – the Koreans missed 64%.
