The fact is that in almost every modern passenger car, the so-called repair position of the wiper blades is provided, when they themselves stop at the highest point of their usual path of movement along the windshield. For obvious reasons, most motorists, devoted to the “secret”, call this situation “winter”. If you leave the “windshield wipers” in a similar position even in the morning after the strongest snowfall, it is possible to free them from frozen ice and snow, as they say, “without hands”.
We either turn on the electric heating of the “frontal” (if any), or simply, while warming up the car, we direct warm air to the windshield. Frozen brushes also thaw with it. The main question is how to get them to freeze at the top of the trajectory?
To do this, in no case should you guess the moment when the engine will turn off with the wiper on. It is enough to completely muffle the vehicle, and then move the lever responsible for operating the “windshield wipers” all the way down or up – for different models in different ways. We hold it in this state for a few seconds, and the wipers themselves “leave” to the repair position, that is, where we need to. And freeze there.
