Now in the line of the Belarusian car factory “BelGee” there are only crossovers – Atlas Pro and Coolray. However, as the AvtoVzglyad portal found out, the model line may be supplemented with the Geely Emgrand 7 NEW sedan in the near future.
The car was first shown to the public in China last year. It is built on the Coolray platform, which clearly simplifies the look on the pipeline. And now BelGee’s general manager, Gennady Svidersky, announced plans to start producing a car next year. Naturally, the AvtoVzglyad portal expects it to appear in Russia as well.
The overall dimensions of the sedan are 4632 × 1789 × 1470 mm and the wheelbase is 2650 mm. The new sedan will be equipped with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with a capacity of 114 hp. Of. Gearbox – mechanics or CVT. And, of course, the car will have a modern set of infotainment technologies.
We note here that although the sedan market is losing crossovers, with the existing shortage of new BelGee cars, due to the appearance of a new model in the production line, it is quite capable of exceeding the planned output of 35 thousand cars per year planned by the Government of the Republic of Belarus.
