The prospects for the electric Largus, designed to save the LADA Izhevsk plant, are very vague. Nevertheless, AvtoVAZ has already started testing its “battery” novelty – the first prototype was delivered to Sosnovka (Samara region), where the test site of the domestic auto giant is located.

Unfortunately, there are no details yet about the tests of the “green” LADA Largus. It is only known that the first prototype, assembled at the Engineering Center, has already arrived at the test site: a series of various tests will be conducted there, according to the Avtograd news community – they say that a start has been made .

What can you expect next? According to the plan, an experimental batch of e-Largus should hit the market next year, and a commodity one in 2024. However, the launch of mass production is still under discussion, as it will depend on market interest, such as early September announced by the head of AVTOVAZ, Maxim Sokolov.

As for the gasoline Largus, AVTOVAZ will produce a small batch of cars in December, which will be handed over to business customers. Then vans and station wagons will be put on hold again until production of LADA Vesta resumes.
