“Nezamerzayka” with methanol can be legalized in Russia

The National Automobile Union (NAU) is proposing to lift the ban on the production of windshield washer fluid containing methyl alcohol. This solution is likely to make winter driving easier for many motorists. By the way, in northern countries such “non-freezing” is still widely used.

NAS president Anton Shaparin notes that the country often violates the ban on the production of “methanol scrubber”. This is confirmed by Rospotrebnadzor’s control purchases, where such products are regularly discovered.

Recall that some citizens previously used this liquid as a substitute for alcohol. As a result, they received serious poisoning, which was the reason for the ban on the use of this alcohol.

However, a normal driver will never drink such a liquid, and when poured into a tank, it is not harmful to health. By the way, the inhabitants of Finland and Norway are still willing to use such automotive chemicals. After all, it removes dirt from the “frontal” much more efficiently.

To lift the ban, Anton Shaparin sent a corresponding letter to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
