Russia built the coolest Land Rover Defender

The engineers of the Russian division of the Icelandic company Arctic Trucks have put the finishing touches to the Land Rover Defender 110. Now the car is designed to overcome very tough off-road conditions. “Rogue” was named Defender Arctic Trucks AT35 and is available by order only.

Basically, the changes related to the chassis. Hence the designation AT35 appeared in the name. This is the outer diameter of the wheels in inches, under which the structural elements are calculated – both factory and replaced during the tuning process.

To fit 315/60R20 tyres, Defu enlarged the wheel arches and installed spacers in the shock absorbers and air bellows. At the same time, the performance of the adaptive suspension system was maintained. As a result, the SUV has become wider by 65 mm, the entry and exit angles have been increased, and the ground clearance of the version with air suspension is 270 mm. In this case, the maximum ground clearance can reach 360 mm.

Recall that the Russian representative office of Arctic Trucks with its own production is located in Krasnoyarsk. Most of the cars are sold to the Urals. There they work in mines and mineral deposits. In addition to the “British” Siberians, several Toyota and Isuzu models are finalizing.
