According to the results of a survey conducted by specialists of the SberAvto online car buying and selling service in collaboration with SberApteka analysts, every third Russian gets motion sickness in public transport (32%), and more than a quarter experience a similar illness while he is in a car (28%). In addition, 71% of respondents feel satisfied in the passenger seat and 29% while driving.
It is noteworthy that 15% of respondents notice signs of nausea only occasionally, and 9% during a long journey.
Every seventh participant in the study noted that motion sickness in traffic jams is more intense than usual, and this is more common in cars with a manual transmission and budget class cars. The majority of Russians – 31% – are sure that the driver, prone to a ragged driving style, is largely to blame.
