The bottom line is that the engine was saved. By the way, engineers put such “fuses” on both cheap and expensive cars.

From all of the above, it is clear that with the sensor turned off, any car will show miracles of dynamics, but sooner or later it will undergo a major overhaul.

In general, DTOG cannot be uninstalled or disabled. In diagnostics, it is necessary to check whether it shows signs of “life” and is in good condition. By the way, sometimes it is removed along with the particulate filter, so that the customer does not complain about mistakes and failures in the work of the “fiery heart”. So if you suddenly find out that a “soot” has been repaired from a used foreign car, check whether the DTOG is in order. It is the key to the sustainability of the entire power plant.
