Buying cars online is becoming increasingly popular in Russia. The AvtoVzglyad portal found out which cars, in which cities and for how much our compatriots buy through the World Wide Web.

As expected, Moscow became the leader in the number of online transactions last year. Compared to 2021, the demand for buying cars online in the Mother See has increased by 7%. According to the SberAvto service, the most popular foreign cars were Kia Rio, Volkswagen Polo, Ford Focus, Skoda Octavia and Hyundai Creta. The average check amounted to 1,395,000 rubles.

It is worth noting that 10% of the total volume of online orders in the capital falls on Chinese brands. Chery won the palm among them.

In St. Petersburg, Volkswagen Polo, Ford Focus and domestic LADA Granta were most often taken out of the virtual showcase. The average price is 980,000 rubles.

Demand for online purchases grew by 18% in Kazan and by 29% overall in Tatarstan. Even more – by 70% – in Bashkiria.

Online sales are also actively developing in Yekaterinburg, where Kia Rio, Ford Focus and Hyundai Solaris are purchased through the network. The average cost of a car here was 990,000 rubles.
