Comparing the new unit with the second generation engine, it is 30% lighter and 12% more fuel efficient. In addition, the torque at low and medium speeds is 10% higher.
It is not yet known with certainty which Chery models will receive the new engine. But the Chinese media, for example, suggest that it is aimed at hybrids.
As for Russia, according to the press service of the brand, cars with the G4G15 engine will reach us in 2024. Everything comes together: the Chinese have just promised to bring a car with a hybrid power plant before the end of this year.
