And now the dots have been added: as the director of JSC Chery Automobiles Rus, Vladimir Shmakov, told the AvtoVzglyad portal, the car will appear with us in the very near future.
Note that depending on the configuration, the car will be available with five, six or seven seats. The engine range includes a 2-liter engine and two transmissions – a 7-speed “robot” and an 8-speed “automatic”. The drive is both front and full.
The options list includes 10 airbags, an advanced autopilot with 17 radars and six cameras, adaptive matrix headlights, a facial recognition system and a head-up display. And outwardly, the car of potential customers, of course, will not disappoint. And this is what Mr. Shmakov says about the prospects for another miracle of the Chinese auto industry in our country:
– In China, the car is now being adapted to the Russian market, to our difficult operating conditions, and when all the work is completed, we begin the procedures for certifying the car in the Russian Federation and launching it on our market. And now we are working on all possible options so that the premiere of Chery Tiggo 9 takes place as soon as possible.
