The model range of the Chinese brand Jetta (cars are produced in a joint venture between FAW and Volkswagen in China) is expanding in Russia: in addition to the VS5 crossover, domestic dealers now offer the larger VS7. For the junior configuration, they ask from 2.9 million rubles, and for the older one – from 3.3 million.
Rumors that the Jetta VS7 is about to appear in Russia have been circulating for a long time. Now the imminent delivery of the first batch of crossovers was announced, let’s say, officially: one of the major dealers at once published 18 advertisements for the sale of a Chinese SUV on the Internet.
There are two modifications to choose from: at least a 1.4-liter engine with 150 forces, but the gearbox can be either mechanical or automatic. Drive — front only.
There are three trim levels: Aggressive, Enjoyment and Glory. In the first case, the buyer can count on air conditioning, LED headlights, cruise control, parking sensors and a sunroof. The latter includes a dual-zone ‘climate’, all-round visibility, keyless entry, a rain sensor, heated front seats and other handy ‘goodies’.
