Apparently, the Chinese from Haval again thought about bringing the H6 crossover to the Russian market. On the brand’s official social networks, they asked users to vote for the best design in their opinion. And they offered two options to choose from: the “six” in the standard version and in the Supreme + version.
Haval has been planning to launch the third-generation H6 in Russia for several years now. In 2020, the crossover was spotted at the Tula factory of the brand and in the Rospatent database, in 2021 – in the comments on the same social networks. But it is still not in the “official” model line, although dealers already offer the “six”, which is brought in according to the “gray” scheme. So what’s the deal: Are the Chinese worried that the H6 will “gobble up” the F7? Or fail, colliding with competitor classmates?
Whatever it is, this crossover is clearly haunting them. And another confirmation of this is a post on social networks with a proposal to choose the best design option. Publication because of public activity or a hint of an imminent launch? Who would know. But the chance that the H6 will officially be sold is really high. In addition, Haval recently announced one new product, without naming a specific model.
By the way, then our colleagues from Chinese Automobiles studied the current line of the brand, identified several cars that could really come to us and launched their own social survey. The majority of readers (namely 51%) admitted to being most interested in the H6, while the rest of the models received no more than 15% of the vote. I wonder how many people would choose the H6 if potential new products from Chery and Geely were among the options…
