Later, in an interview with the AvtoVzglyad portal, Dmitry Kostromin, vice president of sales and marketing of JSC AVTOVAZ, said that the Togliatti automaker intends to “go into segments C and D”. Because until recently it only produced cars in the B segment.

At the first stage, the assembly of the model will most likely be a “screwdriver” – from car kits from China. But over time, it has every chance to acquire a deeper degree of localization in Russia. Since the St. Petersburg enterprise has full-fledged stamping, welding and body painting lines. Note that Bestune T77 is now sold on the Russian market at a price of 2 million rubles.
