A live-action action movie inspired by the toy car franchise. Hot Wheels started its production and has JJ Abrams (lost, star Wars, star way and super 8) ahead of the project as director.

The announcement was made this Monday (25) by Warner Bros. Pictures and Movies Mattela division that handles the brand’s intellectual property in movies.

Hot Wheels, one of the world’s leading toy companies, has been around for 54 years. hands Mattelthe brand has already become a benchmark in the automotive universe, having launched several iconic cars on the toy market, whether real, from movies, games or cartoons.

Hot Wheels on the big screen

The film promises to bring the Hot Wheels imagination to the big screen, full of unbridled action with some of the wildest cars, bikes and monster trucks cinema has ever seen.
