The S5 sedan of the Omoda brand, owned by parent company Chery, will be available in several versions, but with a single 1.5-liter engine capable of digesting 92e gasoline. The gearbox is a CVT and the drive is front-wheel drive only.
The dimensions of the Omoda S5 are 4644x1814x1493 mm, making the model comparable to the Korean Hyundai Elantra and Kia Cerato. But the wheelbase of the sedan turned out to be less stretched – 2650 mm.
The novelty will receive full-power accessories, a multimedia entertainment center, an audio system, an interactive instrument panel, air conditioning, as well as LED optics, electric power steering and a parking brake that automatically bites the pads. You can choose between 16″ and 17″ alloy wheels.
Details on trim levels and pricing will be announced closer to the start of sales.
