An overall score was calculated for each brand, to which were attributed the reliability and satisfaction ratings of real car owners. The overall picture was supplemented with, among other things, the results of the crash tests.
The result, as already mentioned, was the best of the best German BMW, who received 81 points out of 100 possible. It’s hard to believe, but the Bavarians, apparently, really conjured up the quality and assembly, as well as the means of the main components and assemblies. The German brand also took over the lead from the Japanese Subaru, which received two points less. And then again not without sensation: TOP-3 was closed by the British MINI, also part of the BMW car group. Fourth and fifth place were taken by the Japanese Lexus and Honda, who each scored 77 points.
Toyota, so beloved by Russians, shouting about the indestructibility of their cars, only made it to the sixth line of the hit parade. The young Korean brand Genesis is breathing down its back and Mazda took eighth place. On the ninth, another German brand, Audi, broke in half with grief. And the top ten most “long-playing” cars is crowned by the Korean Kia.
It is noteworthy that American concerns turned out to be outsiders altogether. The best result was achieved by Buick, who broke through to 12th place, leaving the Japanese Acura behind. And only after Hyundai and Porsche comes another brand from the USA – Dodge, closing the TOP-15 of the most indestructible cars. Tesla, which is strongly supported by the US authorities, has even worse results – only 17th in the ranking. It seems that soon Elon Musk’s dubious crafts will completely fly out of the “twenty”, which is closed today by the Scandinavian Volvo, which, by the way, also once twisted stories about the unshakable reliability of its products in the ears of consumers.
