As the AvtoVzglyad portal was told at the Russian office of Chery, the new model of the Tiggo 8 hybrid crossover, officially called PRO E +, is completing road and climate tests in Russia. The car will go on sale at dealerships by the end of spring 2023.
Extensive testing of the “hybrid” was initiated by Chery technical specialists along with NAMI engineers. During the tests, the cars rolled over various surfaces, including off-road, as much as 30,000 kilometers.
The machines were also tested for wear resistance against sudden temperature changes and other mechanical influences.
The power station has been checked separately for start-up quality and charging speed at extremely low temperatures.
Among other things, the experts evaluated the density characteristics of Chery Tiggo 8 PRO E +, as well as changes in fuel consumption depending on operating conditions and other indicators.
The tests are currently 85% complete. There were no critical comments. Anyway, until…
