The Russian used car market continues to actively “spud” with Chinese models. The average price for a “celestial” car with mileage is now 1,150,000 rubles. However, there are many more offers with a price tag of up to 500,000! Which of them really arouse genuine interest among consumers, the AvtoVzglyad portal found out.

The share of the supply of Chinese used cars in Russia is currently 2.4%. Analysts from the Avito Auto platform shared this data with the AvtoVzglyad portal, after analyzing the information on the number of advertisements placed for the purchase and sale of these cars.

The most popular used model from China was the Chery Tiggo crossover with the T11 index, which accounted for 8.7% of demand. The average check, albeit for a very mediocre car, is 369,000 rubles. And what: but not Zhiguli, but not on credit. Moreover, it is not only a foreign car, but also a jeep.

The once favorite “carriage” of regional taxi drivers opposite the Lifan Solano sedan took second place in the popularity rating of used “Chinese”. Surprising, but a fact: a passenger car of questionable quality has not yet had time to rot and go to the dustbin of history. Which means it’s still running. And for 280,000 rubles – even more.

Close the top three and completely disastrous car, that is Chery Amulet, who literally breaks everything and constantly. It also tends to rust, so fast that sometimes you don’t have time to reach your destination. However, for 105,000 rubles you can experiment.

The fourth place in the “hit parade” was taken by Geely Emgrand EC7, the one who “copied and pasted” the optics of the 221st Mercedes-Benz S-class. True, to the quality of the German “premium” for him, as for China with cancer. Meanwhile, the share of demand for the model was 4.8%, and the average cost was 360,000 rubles.

TOP-5 is crowned by the once most popular “Chinese” among all compatriots. Yes, yes, the great and terrible Lifan X60, which took 4.6 percent share of the segment. On average, a specific and somewhat unsafe crossover is sold for 550,000 rubles. By the way, for this money you can buy much more technologically advanced and experienced Ford Focus and Mitsubishi Lancer, which last much longer than the Chinese undercarriage. But tastes, as they say, do not argue.

The top ten “most used “Asians” in the Russian market included Geely MK, Great Wall Hover H3 and H5, as well as the infamous Lifan Breez and Smily. The latter, we remember, is a parody of the British MINI , but unfortunately it doesn’t get any better.

By the way, independent experts predict a further increase in demand for “used” cars originally from China. We think in two or three years more decent level cars a la Exeed, Omoda and Haval will be added.
