Marinho took part in the meeting Parliamentary Entrepreneurship Front (POV) in Brasilia. In February this year, the minister defended the creation of a new transport app if existing platforms decide to close their operations in the country, disagreeing with possible labor standards for the sector.

Marinho said he listened to businessmen and workers separately and plans to unite the organizations representing the platforms to achieve mutual understanding. He stated that, ideally, the parties should find a common language, and the government should be an intermediary in this conversation. In the absence of agreement, the government will propose its vision to parliament.
