— For Turkish companies producing car parts, the situation on the domestic market has become a godsend. Some European and Asian suppliers left us after spring last year, giving Turkish competitors an unprecedented opportunity to conquer the Russian market, – says Andrey Zhuravsky, Leading Technical Specialist of Alley Group, a supplier of automotive chemicals.
According to him, at the moment many Turkish manufacturers have figured out the needs of the owners of the fleet of multimillion-dollar Russian cars. And in accordance with them, they have adjusted their production programs and are now very actively establishing sales channels for products in Russia. We are talking about a high-quality “non-original” of the widest range, including even motor oils that fully meet the requirements and tolerances of European car manufacturers.
And there is every reason to believe that Turkish spare parts for models of both budget and premium car brands will be increasingly represented on the shelves of domestic car stores. At the same time, they will compete with high-quality spare parts of Chinese origin. That forces suppliers to lower prices in the battle for the Russian buyer, who is not particularly wealthy in the masses.
