If you think that motorized citizens of our country in the price range up to 1,000,000 rubles en masse buy only LADA, then you are very mistaken. Foreign cars also sell like hot cakes. The AvtoVzglyad portal found out exactly which models of foreign brands are purchased by Russians.

It is noteworthy that in the era of digitization of everything and everyone, Russian people also learned how to deal with virtual reality. In any case, buying cars online is rapidly gaining popularity every month. In addition, 37% of all transactions concern cars worth up to 1,000,000 rubles. This was reported to the AvtoVzglyad portal by specialists from SberAvto, a service for buying and selling cars online.

If we do not take into account the domestic LADA, which actually absorbed the segment, then for the most part we are talking about the “second-hand”, where the products of the Korean Kia and the German Volkswagen are the most popular. Both brands accounted for 8% of total sales in the “less than a million” category.

In addition, used cars Nissan, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Ford, and of different classes, fit into the specified budget. When it comes to models, consumers usually order Korean Hyundai Solaris and Kia Rio, overseas Ford Focus and German VW Polo online.

The greatest interest in such cars is shown in the Mother See, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, Krasnodar and Samara. It is in these cities that online orders fall mainly in the price category up to 1,000,000 rubles. And if in the same St. Petersburg the Korean Kia Rio is the bestseller, then, for example, in Yekaterinburg, the American Ford Focus turned out to be the absolute leader in sales.

Meanwhile, our compatriots are in great demand not only for cars of the B and C class, but also for products presented in the SUV segment. At least in the “live” sales sector. In total, the segments mentioned thus account for almost 80% of the total sales of used cars.

According to analysts of the Avito Auto platform, the share of B-class models in the used car market is 25.6%, C-class – 25.8%, and crossovers and SUVs – 21.3%. In addition, the aforementioned Ford Focus turned out to be the best-selling foreign car in its price range according to last year’s results.

It is striking that despite the ongoing crisis, heartily flavored with rising prices for t/s, the used car sector showed a growth of 15 percent compared to the beginning of last year. Strangely enough, the supply has also increased significantly. The Russians are about 32.2% more active in offering their “beushki” for sale.
