The main conveyor belt was launched at the Moskvich plant

At first, when the Moskvich car plant had just restarted, the crossovers of the revived brand were assembled by hand on a small line. Now, as the AvtoVzglyad portal, which visited the capital’s enterprise, found out, the main conveyor has also begun to work.

So far, only Moskvich-3 petrol crossovers are assembled on an automated line 480 meters long. As for the electric Moskvich-3e, it will be mounted on it in June.

As the project manager of the plant, Maxim Klyushkin, told the AvtoVzglyad portal, the enterprise has already reached a production volume of 165 cars per day. In the plans for the near future – to raise the bar to 230 cars. Overall, since the restart of production (November last year), Moskvich has produced more than 3,000 crossovers.
