The factory of the Chinese brand Haval, located near Tula, remained the last stronghold of stability that continued to produce cars, despite the chaos surrounding it, scarcity of parts and other problems. But now this stronghold has surrendered to the mercy of odds.
So, the management of the Haval brand decided to announce a business vacation, moving the general vacation from summer to spring. For this reason, the conveyor belt from which the crossovers Dargo, Jolion, F7 and F7x, as well as the SUV with H9 frame, will stop on the evening of April 29 to start only on May 16.
Earlier, Kaliningrad Avtotor announced a similar decision. In addition, he stops producing cars for a long time – from May 1 to May 22. Paid leave is announced for employees, but some units continue to work.
The Sollers holding company also decided to shut down the conveyor belts of the UAZ and Mazda-Sollers factories, giving their employees business vacations. Both production sites worked very rhythmically, but now the infamous “rupture in the supply chains” has caught up with them.
AVTOVAZ is also resting until the end of the May holiday. It turns out that the Russian auto industry will “go into hibernation”, which it is planned to leave before the end of May. Unless, of course, the situation with the supply of components normalizes even a little.
