Chery Arrizo 5 GT is on sale until the end of March (so far only in China). The car received new LED headlights, an X-design “muzzle” in the spirit of Lexus and dynamic “turn signals”. The overall dimensions are the same as the previous generation: 4710x1829x1490 mm with a wheelbase of 2670 mm. That is slightly more than that of the LADA Vesta with its body length of 4410 mm and the distance between the axles of 2635 mm.

In the cabin of the four-door, the monitors of the “tidy” and the multimedia system are “shifted” to each other, creating a visual illusion of an ordinary 20.5-inch screen. The Arrizo 5 GT is equipped with a climate quality management system that decides when to switch from outside air intake to air recirculation in the cabin and vice versa. The car received an adaptive ‘cruise’, lane and sign tracking systems, emergency braking, blind spot monitoring and all-round video cameras. Six airbags are fitted as standard.

Under the hood is a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine with 156 hp. with., aggregated with a variator with nine virtual “steps”. There is no official data on the cost of new items yet. The previous model was sold at prices ranging from 99,900 to 108,900 yuan (1.1 to 1.2 million rubles). Taking into account the strong oversupply of the Chinese new car market, which is currently being observed, the prices of the novelty are unlikely to differ much from the “prices” of the predecessor model.

Over time, the appearance of this car on the Russian market is not excluded – under one of the trademarks that spawned the parent brand Chery here. Experience shows that in this case, the Russian prices of Chery Arrizo 5 GT will be twice as high as the Chinese ones – approximately at the level of 2.2-2.5 million rubles.
