On one of the dealer sites, the browser of the AvtoVzglyad portal managed to photograph the new Omoda S5 sedan, designed to play in the budget price segment. According to our own sources, the car will go on sale in April 2023. Dealers are preparing to accept orders.

The Omoda S5 sedan will be the second model in the product line of the Chinese brand in Russia. As the AvtoVzglyad portal was told by its own sources in the dealer network, the novelty will be presented in two different versions and with a pair of gasoline engines. Among them: naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines of 1.5 liters, gearbox – stepless variator. Three versions are expected to appear with different equipment.

The novelty is equipped with a full power package, a multimedia and entertainment complex with a large touch screen in the center console, trained to display the contents of smartphones, as well as an interactive graphic dashboard, an audio system and a multifunction electric steering wheel .

Among other things, the car is equipped with the function of starting the engine with a button, an electronic parking brake that can automatically bite the brake pads, as well as climate control. Of course, there is also a wide range of systems responsible for comfort and safety.

By the way, the interior does not differ from the interior of the car presented on the domestic market. True, as their own sources told the AvtoVzglyad portal, the Chery main brand logo on the steering wheel will be replaced by the Omoda decal in the near future.

In addition, the Omoda S5 is not devoid of LED optics in a circle, and depending on the version, the sedan can be ordered with alloy wheels of 16th or 17th diameter.

It is worth adding that this is not the only premiere prepared by the Chinese for our consumers. By the end of 2023, the brand plans to roll out two new crossovers with C3 and C7 nameplates, as well as an all-electric version of the Omoda C5.
