Ruining a dealership: how much does an Exeed car dealership cost in Russia
This year, the premium Chinese brand Exeed wants to sell 40,000 cars to Russians. Plans, considering they sold just 14,000 in 2022, are ambitious. And without a modern dealer network this is simply impossible. Therefore, Exid started a revolution, the first fruits of which were seen through the AvtoVzglyad portal.

Exeed now has 108 points of sale in our country, and that number will not grow worldwide. And why, even if the representatives of the same “great German troika”, who shamefully fled from our country, had 80-90 DCs per brother. That is enough for a well-fed life.

Another thing is that until now, without exception, all “Xxid” car dealerships are completely different from the locations where they sell premium cars. What is there: in many of them, a potential customer, accustomed to the service of BMW and Mercedes-Benz, somehow does not even want to enter – it is unworthy.

Though what am I? One of all those hundreds of DCs still meets the standards set by the brand. True, it opened in St. Petersburg only recently. But it is to him that all others must now be equal. Which, I must say, will cost them a pretty penny.

Investments in the facility built from scratch amounted to 110 million rubles. True, the amount indicated includes the construction of the building itself and almost all the decoration, which … comes from the Middle Kingdom. As for construction time, it took the DC’s owner just six months to complete.

The costs, you see, are serious. However, Exeed’s Russian office claims that by the end of 2023, all branded dealerships will look exactly the same. And so that business owners do not pass costs on to customers, blatantly inflate prices for car brands and sell carpets for a million “wooden ones”, Exeed compensates them with half the cost of decorating facades and home-style interior decoration. In addition, active efforts are being made to localize components for both exterior and interior decoration in Russia.

“Well, what kind of requirements are these, for compliance with which you have to pay tens of millions of rubles?” – you ask. In general – nothing special, although, of course, how you should look.

“Standard 3.0”, as Exeed calls it, primarily includes an ultra-modern light-dynamic finish for the facade of the space. And second, third and fourth – almost domestic interior architecture. The showroom, divided into different zones, gives the customer the opportunity to really feel at home in a stylish living room, in a cozy kitchen, in an office and even behind a trendy bar. Everywhere – with maximum convenience and comfort. Plus a private car pick-up area, unobtrusive (but on wide screens) information about all the processes going on with the car right now, if it’s in the repair zone, and other goodies. Everything is stylish, fashionable, customizable. Recommended.
