Crossover Renault Duster, known in Europe under the brand name Dacia Duster, is preparing to change generations. The AvtoVzglyad portal studied spy photos of a car dressed in camouflage, taken during its road tests.
The Dacia Duster, expected to debut in 2024, is believed to be an all-new vehicle rather than an actual update of an existing bogie. Even careful camouflage can’t hide the thin headlights with built-in DRLs. The car has a narrow grille with the brand logo in the center, as well as a large and wide air intake in the front bumper. The crossover received a more “square” body profile. In the rear part, new taillights are visible, a fifth door with a higher placed license plate holder, a tighter bumper and a third brake light built into the spoiler.
Judging by the photo, the new Duster retains its ground clearance. But the wheelbase of the model seems to have grown slightly. According to unconfirmed reports, the new Dacia Duster will be built on the CMF-B platform, just like the second generation Renault Captur, Renault Clio V and the new Nissan Juke. Nothing is yet known about the powertrains of the model. According to Autoevolution, the official premiere of the Dacia Duster is scheduled for the first half of 2024.
