According to insiders, the Hyundai plant in St. Petersburg will soon come out of a standstill. The owner will change, but the cars will be the same, although most likely under a different brand.
It looks as if Volkswagen will also restart in Kaluga in the coming months. After the arrest imposed as a result of the lawsuit of the GAZ group against the German concern of this asset was lifted, it became known that Chery bought it. And – in cooperation with the dealer with “Avilon”. Production plans are already being mooted: Some 1,000 Exeed crossovers are said to be rolling off the assembly line by the end of the year. But there is no official confirmation of this story yet.

For example, in the third, final reading, the State Duma approved a bill to extend the statute of limitations for administrative cases involving violations of traffic rules.
