Chinese, Chinese and more Chinese. BAIC’s first brand dealer was opened in the Moscow region. Sales will start in a few weeks: customers will be offered three models: the U5 Plus sedan, the X35 crossover and the BJ40 frame SUV. Production of the first two has already begun at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad, but the villain will be delivered from China for now. And this is not the whole list of new products prepared by BAIC.
FAW is also expanding its model line – thanks to the Bestune T55 crossover and the B70 liftback. The first will take the place of the Beturn X40 that left Russia, and the second will play in the D class. Sales should start in mid-April. The exact prices are still unknown, but according to preliminary data, almost 2,300,000 rubles will be asked for a crossover and almost 2,350,000 for a liftback.
The outgoing week was not without social news. For example, in the third, final reading, the State Duma approved a bill to extend the statute of limitations for administrative cases involving violations of traffic rules. Now it’s not “two months” and “three months”, but “60 days” and “90 days” respectively. That is to say that, in general, nothing has changed.
