However, we already know what this model will look like, because the Chinese decided not to save the intrigue until the very last moment and published several official images on the eve of the premiere.
It is already known that the FAW Besturn T90 is built on the A2 modular platform of the Infinity Formula FMA architecture. This is a fairly large car: its dimensions are 4718/1880/1710 mm with a wheelbase of 2772 mm. As for the design, the Besturn T90 is the first model designed in accordance with the new FAW Pentium concept, which, as the Chinese say, embodies “power, purity and refinement”.
The engine range of the Besturn T90 includes two four-cylinder turbo engines with a capacity of 1.5 and 2.0 liters: the first produces 169 hp. sec., and the second – 252. Both are combined with an eight-speed Aisin “automatic”. Which wheels will drive is not reported, but we can safely assume that several versions will go on sale: both with front-wheel drive and with four-wheel drive.
We add that FAW representatives have not yet announced the launch of the Beturn T90 in Russia. We will be taking orders for the B70 liftback and the Bestune T55 crossover in the near future. However, when the Chinese announced the expansion of the model line at the expense of these machines, they emphasized that a number of new products are expected. It is therefore possible that the Besturn T90 is among them.
