In what cases is the car owner not allowed to refuel at gas stations
It is remarkable, but it is not always possible to refuel your car at a gas station. For example, when a gas station receives a tanker that pours fuel into a tank. But not only because of safety measures you can lose fuel at a gas station. With details – the portal “AvtoVzglyad”.

Of course, tanker trucks can refuse service if the driver violates the established rules and regulations of the gas station, as well as due to the inappropriate behavior of the customer. For example, if he is in a state that resembles alcohol or drug intoxication, or behaves excessively aggressively, smokes, abuses staff or other visitors to a gas station. According to internal documentation, employees can deny such a visitor service, and to appease those who are particularly enraged, they can also call the police.

But it happens that fuel is not sold due to circumstances beyond the control of the clientele. For example, during thunderstorms and lightning, some complexes do not fill vehicles with fuel, nor do they allow sampling of oil products, as described in Article 3.12 of the “Labour Protection Instructions for Service Station Operators”.

In addition, there is a risk of running out of gas if the light goes out at the gas station, the ATM breaks down or one of the gas stations is damaged. Also, gas station employees often refuse to fill plastic jerry cans with gasoline, which can accumulate static electricity. Let’s say more – some gas stations, relying on the nuances of operating instructions, do not fill fuel at all in containers other than the fuel tank of the car.

Among other things, the staff has the right to refuse service when the car engine is on, trying to reach the gun on the other side of the car, where the fuel tank hatch is located, as well as when approaching the dispenser in violation with traffic rules.

By the way, independent experts strongly advise against entrusting the process of refueling the “iron horse” to gas station employees. And here’s why.
