The BAIC brand began its journey in our Vast with the U5 Plus sedan and the X35 crossover: both models were promised to the Russians at a price of 1.7 million rubles. But to get a four-door “here and now”, the buyer will have to pay 130,000 rubles more at the official dealer’s box office, reports Rossiyskaya Gazeta. And all because until now, apparently, only those cars that can boast of the richest equipment, that is, the luxury version, go to car dealerships.
What kind of equipment are we talking about? The older equipment includes eco-leather upholstery, a digital dashboard, 16-inch wheels, a rear view camera, rear parking sensors, heated and electric side mirrors, air conditioning, a multimedia complex with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, as well as ABS, ESP and an assistant with hill start and two airbags.
As for the power units, the buyer can count on a 1.5-liter engine with 113 horsepower. Of. and 142 Nm of torque, five-speed manual or continuously variable transmission.
