In May, Nokia introduced the XR21 Rugged smartphone in the UK. A month later, the device entered the US market. Now the smartphone has arrived in some European regions and Australia.

Starting in Australia, the device launched with a price tag of AU$799. In Germany, France, Spain and the Netherlands, the Nokia XR21 smartphone retails for 599 euros. It comes in a single Night Black color with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. In Australia, the smartphone comes with a free Nokia Wireless Speaker 2 and 33W charger, while European customers will get a free pair of Nokia Clarity headphones with every Nokia XR21 purchase.

The Nokia XR21 has a mid-cut display with a 6.49 inch FHD+ LCD display. It provides smooth viewing with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 550 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus and supports touch even with wet hands or gloves. The smartphone includes a handy side fingerprint scanner and two customizable buttons.

Design-wise, the Nokia XR21 is solidly built with a 100 percent recycled aluminum body. It meets MIL-STD 810H military endurance standards and has an IP68 waterproof rating. It is also IP69K certified, providing protection against dust, water and drops.

For photography enthusiasts, the Nokia XR21 has a 16-megapixel front camera for high-quality selfies. The rear panel has a dual camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and LED flash.

Under the hood, the Nokia XR21 is powered by a Snapdragon 695 processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It includes a 4,800mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The device works under the control of the Android 12 operating system, which allows the user to work smoothly.

Connectivity options on the Nokia XR21 include super loud stereo speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port, NavIC support, 5G capability, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1 compatibility.
