Lu Weibing, head of Xiaomi Group and general manager of the Redmi brand, has officially confirmed that the flagship smartphone Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 will be launched on August 14, as previously predicted.

An official image of the smartphone has also been released, which confirms some points: the back panel will be made of nanoskin, a material popular among Xiaomi flagships. The main camera will contain four image sensors. There is also the Leica logo on the back.

Lu Weibing added that the new smartphone will be extremely thin and will set a new standard for all bendable smartphones.

Earlier, Lei Jun, the founder of Xiaomi, said that Xiaomi’s next big presentation will take place on Monday, August 14. Well-known network tipster Ice Universe confirmed that he is already using the Xiaomi MIX Fold3, and also added that this smartphone is significantly superior to the Samsung Galaxy Fold5, especially in camera.
