OnePlus is ready to launch the new member of the Ace series, the Ace 2 Pro, in China. The device is scheduled to launch on August 16, 2023, at 14:00 China time. It is expected to have a similar design to the previously released OnePlus Ace 2. Ahead of the launch, the company shared some key features of the device on Weibo.

OnePlus Ace 2 Pro memory specs (confirmed)

According to a recent teaser, the upcoming Ace 2 Pro smartphone will have impressive success as the world’s first (mass production) device with 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The device will also have 1 TB of UFS 4.0 flash memory.

The RAM will be manufactured by SK Hynix, and according to OnePlus, the Ace 2 Pro will use “Memory Gene Recombination” technology, promising efficient memory usage and faster data readout, allowing 41 apps to run in the background for 72 hours. TÜV Rheinland has certified the phone for 48 months of continuous use.

ZTE brand Nubia previously introduced RedMagic 8S Pro+ with 24GB/1TB storage, but it was not yet on sale. It is also reported that Realme plans to launch a smartphone with 24 GB of RAM.

Key features of OnePlus Ace 2 Pro

As for other specs, OnePlus has confirmed that the Ace 2 Pro will be powered by a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and a 6.74-inch 120Hz 1.5K OLED display with HDR10+ and a density of 450ppi.

The smartphone will run Android 13, offer 24GB, 12GB and 16GB of RAM, and will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with an impressive 17-minute full charge time via a 150W GaN charger. It will be available in blue and gray colors.
