According to a recent report that surfaced online, Samsung has started rolling out the September security patch for the Galaxy S21 FE. For those who don’t know, the company had previously released the September patch for the unlocked version of the smartphone. According to a recent report by SAMmobile, the update is coming to the Galaxy S21 FE in a build version ending EWH2 in the US. The security patch resolves more than 62 vulnerabilities found in the previous update. Since this update focuses mainly on security, users are not advised to expect new features or significant performance improvements from this patch.

Additionally, Samsung launched the Galaxy S21 FE in January 2022. The smartphone comes with Android 12 pre-installed and is expected to receive four major Android updates. As we all know, the company is currently developing an operating system based on Android 14. It is very likely that the Galaxy S21 FE will be one of the smartphones that will receive this major operating system update.
