Like the Reno 8 series, Oppo’s Reno 9 series is expected to include three phones in China, namely the Reno 9, 9 Pro and 9 Pro Plus. According to reports, the brand plans to announce the series in its home market this month. While waiting for the official announcement, a reliable information source shared detailed images of all three smartphones in the series.

Popular leakster Evan Blass shared images of the upcoming Oppo Reno9, 9 Pro and 9 Pro Plus. While all three models look pretty similar, there are a few differences to note. For example, the Reno9 Pro Plus has a larger camera island that doesn’t line up with the rest of the phone’s body. Not to mention, it also has a secondary camera.

Oppo seems to be bringing back the curved frame design. Vanilla Reno9, which will be the cheapest model of the series, also has a curved screen. However, it may not have the company’s MariSilicon imaging chip, as there is no text on the camera island.

The features of the Reno 9 series were leaked to the internet recently. The leak suggests that the Reno 9 will be powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset and pack a 4,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. It will have 64-megapixel and 2-megapixel secondary cameras. The Reno 9 Pro, on the other hand, will be powered by a Dimensity 8100-Max chip and a 4500mAh battery with 67W charging. For photography, it will have a dual camera consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera and an 8-megapixel lens.

The high-end Reno 9 Pro+ is said to have a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor under the hood and will be powered by a 4,700mAh battery with 80W charging. The phone is likely to have a triple camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel lens and a 2-megapixel unit.
