Premiere of only 4 films in Brazilian cinemas this weekend. In connection with the debut Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnesswhich is expected to occupy more than half of the country’s cinemas, there is little room left for any other production.

Despite this, we will still have a limited number of two European films and one Brazilian production. It is worth remembering that the rest of the films have a reduced circulation and for this reason should only reach the main capitals of the country.

French comedy fracture, directed by Catherine Corsini, is one of the premieres of the week. The film, distributed by Imovision, tells the story of Raf and Julie, a couple about to break up, who are in the emergency room on the night of a major yellow vest protest in Paris. An encounter with Yann, a wounded and angry protester, will shake his confidence and prejudice. Outside, tension builds and soon the hospital is forced to close its doors and the staff is overwhelmed. The night will be long, frank and fun.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Major premiere in Brazilian cinemas this weekend, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness opens in more than 2,000 cinemas across the country – more than half of the existing network. The sequel to the Marvel movie takes Doctor Strange into the unknown, through alternate, incomprehensible and dangerous realities of the Multiverse.

Klondike: War in Ukraine

drama Klondike: War in Ukraine – another premiere, which takes place in several cinemas of the country. The action takes place in 2014, when the war in the Donbass begins. Ukrainian couple Irka and Tolik live in the border area between their country and Russia. She is pregnant and refuses to leave her home even when her village is taken over by the armed forces. Things get even more complicated when a civilian plane is shot down and crashes in the area. Despite the title, the “war in Ukraine” the film is about is not the current one.

Closes the list of premieres of the week and the national film point of view. Directed by Bruno Costa, the production follows Maicon, a boxer who trains to get back into the ring by splitting his time with two part-timers. His life is turned upside down when he finds himself in a situation where he has to take care of his daughter alone. Between the grueling workout routine and odd jobs to survive, Maicon has yet to win his biggest fight yet: becoming a father. With Altamar Cesar, Maria Luisa da Costa and Stephanie Fernandez.
