The next voyage of the ship new Shepardrun by a space company blue source – in Jeff Bezos – the Brazilian will have: Victor Spain, 28 years. A Minas Gerais-trained process engineer was selected for the “tour” when he bought an NFT from Cryptospace Agency (KSA), a company that links cryptocurrencies to the space industry.
The organization has released over 5,000 NFTs to the market, and Hespanha was one of those it acquired to diversify its investments. Buyers of these products become premium members of the CSA community and participate in CSA sweepstakes and receive priority access to events.
The ride will be fully funded by the agency and a release date has yet to be announced. The Brazilian will become the second in the country to go into space after astronaut Marcos Pontes, who conducted experiments on the International Space Station (ISS) in 2006.
“I bought [o NFT] thinking about the potential for recognition, I never thought that I would be attracted,” Victor said of this achievement. “I’m fulfilling a childhood dream through NFT and the chip is still falling.”
In addition to being another Brazilian representative in space, he will be known as “the world’s first kryptonaut”, according to Blue Origin.
Mexican woman will go down in history with Victor
Victor will be on board the New Shepard along with five other tourists: Evan Dickengineer and investor who has already flown on a spaceship, Hamish hardeningPresident Action Aviation, Jason Robinsonfounder of real estate agency JJM Investments, Victor Veskovoco-founder of investment group Insight Equity and Mexican Katia ehazarreta.
Latin America, like Spain, will go down in history. She will be the first woman from her country to go into space. Owning a YouTube channel and encouraging new people interested in science, engineering and technology, she will be sponsored by Space for Humanity, which works to expand people’s access to the universe.
