Disney World is said to be one of the happiest places on earth. In fireworks, 50 million a year is a lot of fireworks

Fireworks are sort of a hallmark of the company, and even though we’ve never set foot in one of its parks, we’ve seen them. That’s because we’ve seen the famous palace accompanied by pyrotechnics in every opening of his movies for decades. This experience is one they repeat every night in their parks.

Disney has six parks in the United States, and they all have some type of fireworks display. And daily. Some shows are estimated to cost between $41,000 and $55,000 per night, with some shows costing more than others, totaling around $50 million per year. As a result, there are a lot of people, but you also need to add up what they earned from tickets, hotels, shopping and food expenses. If we talk about Disney World, Disney offers three types of tickets (the simplest gives access to only one park), and in low season a two-day ticket costs 252 euros. In high season the same ticket goes for 346 euros. Per person.

Disney World’s daytime profits in 2023 are estimated to be between $40 million and $50 million, meaning a single day spent at the park covers the annual expense associated with fireworks. If the day is not good for visitors, it will take a few hours to get a year’s worth of fireworks.

Clearly, the military’s numbers are off the charts. Gunpowder expenditures in their budgets are expressed in billions. But the fact that Disney is the second-largest buyer in the United States is something of a charm, to say the least.
