Getting married is something that is not easily forgotten, for better or worse. However, the wedding we are focusing on will be remembered by both the couple and all the guests.

To put it in a more Westernized context, it would be as if Scarlett Johansson, Tom Cruise and Leonardo DiCaprio were performing at an engagement party.

Pre-wedding version 1.0Before their first official wedding, the couple decided to do something “family” and gathered more than 1,200 guests. Bollywood-style dancing was once again seen and more than 500 different dishes prepared by more than a hundred chefs were tasted.

The lineup of entertainers has generated more anticipation than at Burning Man, but Adele, Drake and Lana Del Rey will all perform. The celebration will run through the weekend and into Sunday, culminating in a reception for the now-formally married Ambanis at the family’s 27-story residence.

Who pays the bill? After more than seven months of grand celebrations and star-studded performances, the pre-wedding bill has reached more than $600 million. The cost of the Mediterranean cruise alone, and the attendants waiting for them at each stop, is already around $150 million.

According to sources, the cost of the delicious buffet that Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg ate was around $20 million, and Justin Bieber pocketed around $10 million for his special performance. WorldRihanna earned $5.8 million from her 19-song special concert.

The bill far exceeds the amount the millionaire businessman had to pay for his daughter Isha’s wedding in 2018, a ceremony that included a performance by Beyoncé.
