Sometimes when we lift our heads to the sky that a star has fallen away we are witnesses or someone “Oh, a shooting star!” We say it and immediately make a wish.

What we saw then was contrary to popular belief. It’s not a shooting star. So how come we call it a shooting star and interpret it that way?

Meteorites burn.

Meteorite; It is a solid piece that remains intact when an object in space, such as an asteroid or comet, passes through the atmosphere to reach the surface of a planet or satellite. These meteoroids are attracted by the gravity of our planet. enters the atmosphere and they travel quite quickly through the atmosphere.

They heat up and burn up by friction with gas molecules in the atmosphere. In the process they emit a bright light. What we call a ‘shooting star’ is actually what we see. this shines and burns.
